“There is more nonsense talked and written about Yoga than about anything else in the world.” (A.C.)

“Penetration of our mind is our goal, but in the beginning to set things in motion, there is no substitute for sweat.”

“Yoga teaches us to cure what need not be endured and endure what cannot be cured.”

“Yoga, an ancient but perfect science, deals with the evolution of humanity. This evolution includes all aspects of one’s being, from bodily health to self-realization. Yoga means union — the union of body with consciousness and consciousness with the soul. Yoga cultivates the ways of maintaining a balanced attitude in day-to-day life and endows skill in the performance of one’s actions.”

“Illuminated emancipation, freedom, unalloyed and untainted bliss await you, but you have to choose to embark on the Inward Journey to discover it.”

B.K.S. Iyengar

I was introduced to yoga in the late 1980s and have been practicing ever since. The healing, strength and balance that it has brought into my life is priceless.

The first goal of Hatha Yoga, or the Yoga of Asana-poses is to pacify the body and mind. I am offering the first of what I hope to be an on-going offering of yoga and holistic health related classes and therapies. I bring over twenty years of study, practice and teaching Yoga, Nei Kung, Holistic Health and human anatomy and physiology into every class.
